Pink extends tour, adds return visit to Boston

With her “The Truth About Love” tour scheduled to end with a sold out concert at the TD Garden on Thursday, Pink has announced plans for a return visit as part of a newly announced second slate of concerts in North America. The pop superstar will perform at the TD Garden again on Thursday, December 5. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $39.50 to $125, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

The Truth About Love, Pink’s sixth studio effort and follow-up to 2008’s Funhouse, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 after is release in September. The pop star teamed up with producer Greg Kurstin (Foster The People, Kesha) for the very first time on the new release along with long time collaborators Max Martin and Shellback, Billy Mann and Butch Walker. It features guest appearances from Eminem, Lily Allen and fun. vocalist Nate Ruess. The Truth About Love, which was nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album, has been powered by singles “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)”, “Try” and “Just Give Me a Reason” (video is streaming below).

Pink collaborated with creative partner and show director Baz Halpin to develop the tour’s unique stage production. Pulling from her seven album repertoire, Pink’s set has combined some of her biggest hits and fan favorites with material off The Truth About Love.
