A pair of upcoming concerts scheduled for the Agganis Arena at Boston University have been moved to new venues. Phoenix has rescheduled their Tuesday, October 1 show to the far more intimate House of Blues, while Timeflies have rescheduled their Wednesday, October 9 show to Friday, November 22 and moved it to the Orpheum Theatre. According to the shows’ promoters Live Nation, both concerts were moved “due to a scheduling conflict”.

For Phoenix fans, all tickets for the Agganis Arena show will be honored at the general admission House of Blues date. Additional tickets for the show can be purchased through Live Nation for $49.50.

Current ticket holders for Timeflies show will be contacted with the option to refund or exchange their tickets for the new date at the Orpheum.

Phoenix is touring in support of their brand new album, Bankrupt!. The band’s fifth studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 after its release in April. Co-produced by the band and Philippe Zdar, it features lead single “Entertainment”.

Timeflies, the electro/hip-hop duo who formed at Tufts University, are gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album and follow-up to 2011’s The Scotch Tape. Though no release date has been announced for the yet-to-be-named album, fans can get a taste of the new material with lead single “I Choose U”.
