Mike Gordon has mapped a solo tour for later this fall that will include a stop in Boston. The Phish bassist and vocalist will hit Boston on Saturday, November 27 for a night at the Paradise Rock Club. Tickets for the 18+ show are now on sale for $32 through Ticketmaster.

After completing a fall tour with Phish, Gordon will hit the rod in support of his forthcoming solo release, Moss. The album, his third solo studio effort, hit stores on October 19 and comes just two years after The Green Sparrow.

The Sudbury native describes the album as very bass-oriented “The uniqueness is centered on the bass,” he explained in a press release. “So the bass is the key instrument.”

Fans who pre-order the album through Gordon’s official website, will automatically be entered to win a private bass lesson with Gordon himself, and are also eligible to receive a signed original Moss album cover.

On the tour, Gordon will be backed by a band comprised of guitarist Scott Murawski, drummer Todd Isler, keyboardist Tom Cleary, and percussionist Craig Myers..
