Hot off the heels of two homecoming shows at the Bank of America Pavilion with The J. Geils Band, Peter Wolf has announced plans for a solo headlining show this fall. Wolf will perform at the Somerville Theatre on Thursday, October 20. Tickets for the show, which will also feature opener Roy Sludge, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $37.50.

Wolf continues to tour in support of his latest solo album, Midnight Souvenirs. Released in April of 2010, the album is Wolf’s seventh solo studio effort and first since 2002’s Sleepless. Midnight Souvenirs was named Album of the Year at the 2010 Boston Music Awards. It features special guests Merle Haggard, Shelby Lynne and Neko Case. Wolf’s backing band is comprised of Duke Levine (guitar), Kevin Barry (guitar), Marty Ballou (bass), Marty Richards (drums) and Jonathan Carroll (keyboards).
