Owl City will return to the road this summer in support of their highly anticipated release, All Things Bright And Beautiful. Led by mastermind Adam Young, Owl City will play Boston’s House of Blues on Sunday, June 26. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at noon through Live Nation for $28.

All Things Bright And Beautiful, the follow-up to their major label debut full-length studio album Ocean Eyes, will hit stores on May 17 via Universal Republic. Produced by Young and recorded at Sky Harbor Studios in Owatonna, Minnesota, All Things Bright And Beautiful features twelve new songs and was mixed by Young along with Grammy Award-winning engineer and producer Jack Joseph Puig (Beck, Mary J. Blige). Ocean Eyes was powered by the success of hit single “Fireflies”, which hit #1 on the Hot 100 twice and found its’ way to the #1 spot in 24 countries around the world.

While Young writes, composes, records, and produces all of Owl City’s music, during live performances he is accompanied by the following group of supporting musicians: Breanne Duren (keyboards, backing vocals), Daniel Jorgensen (guitar, xylophone), Laura Musten (violin), Hannah Schroeder (cello) and Matthew Decker (drums, percussion).

In an ironic coincidence, Young will bring Owl City to Massachusetts at the same time country superstar Taylor Swift is in the area for her own show at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro. Earlier this year, Young released a cover/response to Swift’s “Enchanted”, which reportedly was inspired by him.
