Perennial summertime favorites Of A Revolution have announced plans to return to the road this summer. The Maryland rockers, better known as O.A.R., will make their way to Massachusetts for a performance at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston on Saturday, July 27. Joining them as part of the “Sounds of Summer” tour will be special guests Andrew McMahon and Allen Stone. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $34.50.

O.A.R. is currently at work on their eighth studio album and follow-up to 2011’s King. In November, the band released a new live album and DVD, Live on Red Rocks. Filmed and recorded live at the iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater on July 15, 2012, Live on Red Rocks captures 22 songs spanning the band’s career. Also included in the DVD is a short documentary called “Standing on a Burning Hot Sun”.

McMahon, best known as the frontman for Something Corporate and Jack’s Mannequin, is gearing up for the release of his solo debut. No release date for The Pop Underground EP has been announced. Fans can expect a set that features material from all points of his career.

Stone continues to tour in support of his 2011 self-titled album, which ATO Records re-released last summer.
