Of A Revolution (O.A.R.) have unveiled plans for their summer tour, which will include back-to-back performances at Boston’s Bank of America Pavilion. Tickets for the July 29 and 30 shows will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $39.40. Citizen Cope will open both shows.

O.A.R. are currently working on their next studio album with producer Matt Wallace (Maroon 5, Blues Traveler) to record., who they collaborate with on their last studio album, 2008’s All Sides. Most recently, the band released their fourth live album, Rain or Shine. The album was recorded during two of the band’s performances in Chicago last June.
The  band is hoping to take the aura of their acclaimed liver performances to the studio for their upcoming seventh album. “Taking tracks live off the floor has reminded us how much fun the studio can be,” Marc Roberge, O.A.R.’s lead singer, said in a press release. “Every take has the feel of a live performance. We can’t wait to get back on the road this summer, play some new songs, some old ones, and some lost ones.”
