Nickelback have announced their first North American arena tour in two years. With help from special guests Bush and Seether, the Canadian rockers will hit 39 cities on their tour of North America including Worcester, Massachusetts. The tour will stop at the DCU Center on Saturday, April 28. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $50.50 to $90.50, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Rounding out the bill will be rising rockers My Darkest Days.

On the upcoming tour, Nickelback will be promoting their brand new album, Here and Now. Released last November, the band’s seventh studio effort debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. Produced by Nickelback and recorded at Mountain View Studios, Vancouver, British Columbia, Here and Now is the follow up to 2008’s Dark Horse. It has been powered by hit singles “When We Stand Together” and “Bottoms Up”. For more on the tour, check out the band’s video message to fans below.

Led by frontman Gavin Rossdale, Bush recently returned to the spotlight with a new lineup featuring original drummer Robin Goodridge and new members Chris Traynor and Corey Britzm (replacing Nigel Pulsford and Dave Parsons on guitar and bass respectively). The band will be touring in support of their latest release, The Sea of Memories. Released last September, Bush’s fifth studio effort was produced by Bob Rock (Metallica, Aerosmith) and features lead single “The Sound of Winter”.

Seether will be touring in support of their latest album, Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray. Released last May, the band’s fifth studio effort debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. It features singles “Country Song”, “Tonight” and “No Resolution”.

Prior to the show in Boston, the tour will stop in Hartford, Connecticut for a show at the XL Center on Friday, April 27. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $46.50 to $76.50, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.
