Neko Case makes plans for New England

Neko Case has revealed plans for a brief Northeast tour this winter. The singer-songwriter and member of the The New Pornographers, will play a handful of shows in New England. Case will play Boston’s Wilbur Theatre on Thursday, February 3. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $35. North Carolina’s Lost in Trees will open the show.

Case continues to tour in support of 2009’s Middle Cyclone, her fifth solo studio effort. The highly acclaimed album, which debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200, was co-produced by Case and Darryl Neudorf.

Prior to her Boston show, Case will play Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, Rhode Island (Wednesday, February 2), Port City Music Hall in Portland, Maine (Monday, January 31) and Higher Ground in Burlington, Vermont (Sunday, January 30). She’ll also stop at the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts on Friday, February 4.
