Neil Young has revealed plans for an intimate theater tour this spring. The legendary rocker will make his way to Massachusetts for a two-night stand Boston’s Citi Wang Center on Tuesday, April 19 and Wednesday, April 20. Tickets for the shows, which range range in price from $50 to $250, will ho on sale Thursday at noon through Telecharge.

Young is touring in support of his most recent release, Le Noise. The critically acclaimed album was nominated for Best Rock Album at this year’s Grammy Awards and won Best Rock Song for “Angry World”. Le Noise was produced by fellow Canadian Daniel Lanois (U2, Bob Dylan),

Fans attending the upcoming shows show can expect a setlist with many of the songs off Le Noise, as well as many of Young’s greatest hits. The tour is a continuation of the his 2010 “Twisted Road” tour which saw Young perform mainly on electric guitar, as opposed to the usual acoustic for his theater shows. Young is also expected to play organ, piano, and acoustic during the show.

Following the two shows in Boston, Young will make his way to Rhode Island for a show at the Providence Performing Arts Center on Friday, April 22. No ticket information has been made available for the show.

Young’s tour will wrap a month before he is slated to reunite once again with his bandmates in Buffalo Springfield as they will perform at Tennessee’s Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival. The band, who first reunited at Young’s annual Bridge School Benefit Concerts in California last fall, are expected to announce a full fall tour later this year. However, despite the swirling rumors,  nothing has officially been announced.
