Nas and Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley will join forces this summer for a collaborative tour. The two will bring the “Distant Relatives Tour” to Boston’s House of Blues on July 28. Tickets for the show, which are priced at $39.50 and $49.50, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The two will be touring in support of the brand new collaborative studio album, Distant Relatives. Featuring the musicianship of Marley with the lyrics of Nas, the album title refers not only to the bond between the artists, but the connection to their African ancestry, which inspired the album both musically and lyrically.  Released last month, the album debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200. Distant Relatives was produced by Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley and also features several guest appearances including Lil Wayne, who appears on the track “Generation,” K’NAAN on “Africa Must Wake Up” and Tribal War,” and Stephen Marley on “Leaders” and “In His Own Words.”

Both artists will perform together at the Gathering of the Vibes festival in Bridgeport, Connecticut on August 1.
