Celebrating the release of their brand new album, Circuital, My Morning Jacket have revealed plans for a summer tour of North America. The tour hits Boston on Sunday, August 14 at the Bank of America Pavilion. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $30 to $40, will go on the sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Neko Cake will open the show.

Released earlier this week, Circuital is My Morning Jacket’s sixth studio release and first since 2008’s Evil Urges. The album is currently steaming in its entirety on the band’s MySpace.

“We’ve always loved exploring a lot of different styles of music,” explained My Morning Jacket singer-songwriter Jim James in an interview with NPR last week. “This is the first record we’ve made in Louisville proper, so that was a new, exciting challenge for us.”
