The Nines Festival on Saturday: Delta Spirit, Explosions in the Sky and Dr. Dog highlight the musical acts set to perform at this brand new festival, which will debut at the athletic grounds of Willard Field in Devens, Massachusetts. Tickets are available for $55.

Gloucester Blues Festival on Saturday: Returning for its second year, the Gloucester Blues Festival welcomes some of the genre’s best to Stage Fort Park. Tommy Castro, Ana Popovic, Anthomy Gomes and Johnny Rawls will each perform, as will local standouts Gracie Curran, Lydia Warren and Mr. Nick. Tickets are available for $40.

Newport Waterfront Reggae Festival at the Newport Sunset Music Series: If reggae is more your thing, there is no better place to be than Newport, Rhode Island on Saturday. Now its fourth year, this year’s festival welcomes Morgan Heritage, Anthony B, Mighty Mystic and the Thunder Band, Chuck Fenda and Spiritual Rez. Tickets are available for $35 in advance or $45 on the day of.


Maroon 5, Kelly Clarkson at the Comcast Center: The Honda Civic tour rolls into town with a pop-rock flair. Tickets range in price from $29.50 to $99.50. Opening the show will be Rozzi Crane.

Robert Randolph & The Family Band at the Wilbur Theatre: Touring in support of their brand new album Lickety Split, the steel guitar virtuoso and company hit Boston. Tickets are availabe for $25 and $35.

Diana Ross at the Citi Wang Theatre: The Queen of Motown stops in Boston as part of her “Greatest Hits” tour. Expect a night of sing-alongs for $53.25 to $183.25.

Tristan Prettyman at the Lowell Summer Music Series: The Californian singer-songwriter continues to tour in support of her latest album, 2012’s Cedar + Gold. Tickets for the show, which has been moved indoors to the Lowell High School Auditorium, are availble for $35.

Vince Neil at Campanelli Stadium: The Motely Crue frontman takes on the home of the Brockton Rox with help from fellow 80’s hair rock favorites Steelheart, Dokken and L.A. Guns (featuring Steve Riley and Phil Lewis). Tickets are available for $40.

Three Dog Night at the Zeiterion Theatre: The longtime classic rock favorites make their way to New Bedford. Take a ride down memory lane for $35 to $59.

Buddy Guy, George Thorogood & The Destroyers at the Newport Sunset Music Series: A co-headlining bill featuring a blues legend and longtime blues rock favorite. Make your way to Newport for what should be a very special night. Tickets range in price from $49.50 to $79.50.

Avenged Sevenfold at the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino: Before they hit the road  this fall for a major arena tour, the L.A.-based rockers are delivering a handful of more intimate shows as they gear up for the release of their new album, Hail to the King. See them in Connecticut for $30 to $55.

Kaskade at the Ocean Club At Marina Bay: The Quincy hotspot welcomes yet another top EDM favorite for an intimate sold-out show.

Jay-Z, Justin Timberlake at Fenway Park: One of the biggest summer blockbuster tours finally makes its way to Boston as the “Legends of Summer” set-up shop at Fenway Park for two-nights. Of course, tickets for these shows are long gone.

Keith Urban, Little Big Town at the Comcast Center: It’s been awhile since the country star and current American Idol judge has performed in Massachusetts. With a new album called Fuse due next month, fans can expect a couple of new songs to make the setlist. Also performing will be reigning CMA and ACM Vocal Group of the Year winners Little Big Town. Vince Gill at the South Shore Music Circus: Hot off the release of his brand new album Bakersfield, the longtime country star and guitar slinger hits the intimate confines of the Music Circus in Cohasset. Tickets range in price from $52.75 to $72.75.
