Kenny Chesney at Gillette Stadium on Friday & Saturday: The king of country returns to Foxboro for a two-night stand at the home of the Patriots to close out his “No Shoes Nation” tour. Joined by Eric Church, Eli Young Band and Kacey Musgrave, the shows will also mark Chesney’s last until 2015 as he recently annoucned that he will take 2014 off from touring. A limited number of tickets remain available for $55 to $107.50.

Newport Celtic Rock Festival at the Newport Yachting Center (RI) on Saturday: Now in its second year, this day-long festival offers a little something for all generations. Dropkick Murphys will headline while Eileen Ivers, the Screaming Orphans and Town Pants will all return to perform in Newport. Along with the music, attendees can enjoy Irish step-dancers, Irish wolfhounds, a children’s area, a marketplace of goods and traditional pub fare. Tickets are available for $35 in advance or $45 on the day of.

The Cult at the House of Blues: The veteran rockers hit Boston to perform their classic album Electric in its entirety. The band will also deliver second set featuring material from the band’s eight other studio albums, including their most recent release 2012’s Choice of Weapon. Tickets are available for $28 and $40.

Great Big Sea at the Lowell Summer Music Series: Continuing their 20th anniversary tour, Great Big Sea return to Boarding House Park for what should be a special night. Expect a set packed with hits and fan favorites fro $35.

Farrenheit at the Blue Ocean Music Hall: The longtime Boston favorites reunite as Charlie Farren, David Hull and John Muzzy perform in Salisbury Beach. Tickets are available for $27.50.

Toni Braxton at the Twin River Event Center (RI): After a wardrobe malfunction in New Jersey last week, the R&B hopes to have better luck in Rhode Island. Tickets range in price from $55 to $100.

Kesha at the Mohegan Sun Arena (CT): If you missed her earlier this summer with Pitbull in Mansfield, here is your second chance to see the pop star in New England as she hits Connecticut for a headlining concert in support of her new album Warrior. Tickets for the show, which will also feature openers Mike Posner and Semi Precious Weapons, are available for $49.


The Tenors at the South Shore Music Circus: The acclaimed Canadian singing stops in Cohasset to promote their latest album, Lead With Your Heart, which won the Juno Award for Adult Contemporary Album of the Year. Tickets are available for $48.75.

Pat Benatar & Neil Giraldo at Indian Ranch: As one of the many stops she has planned for New England this summer, the classic rock favorite stops in Webster for a matinee performance alongside the lake. Tickets range in price from $42.50 to $55.

Jim Brickman at The Music Hall in Portsmouth (NH): He recently announced his annual Christmas tour but when the acclaimed songwriter and pianist stops in New Hampshire, you can expect a much more diverse setlist. Tickets are available for $38.25.
