Mos Def and Talib Kweli have announced plans for a joint tour this fall. The two hip-hop favorites will play the House of Blues in Boston on Sunday, October 3. Tickets are now on sale through Live Nation for $32.50 and $49.50.

In 1998, Mos Def and Talib Kweili became underground favorites in the hip-hop world. The two formed Black Star and released the critically acclaimed album, Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star. Despite the album’s success, the pair have not released a follow-up album and have only performed a handful of shows together.

Mos Def most recently released his fourth studio album, The Ecstatic, last summer. The album debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 chart and earned a Grammy Award nomination for Best Rap Album. Kweli serves as a special guest for the song “History”.

Kweli most recent solo offering was 2007’s Eardrum. Earlier this year, he teamed up with producer Hi-Tek to release their second album together as Reflection Eternal, Revolutions per Minute.
