Montgomery Gentry will make their way to Massachusetts later this month for a special intimate benefit concert at Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar & Grill in Foxboro. The veteran country stars will perform at the Patriot Place venue on Monday, September 26. Tickets for the 21+ show, which will also feature special guest Kevin Fowler, are now on sale through the venue’s website for $20. All net proceeds will benefit the Floating Hospital for Children at Tufts Medical Center. The show is the first of WKLB Country 102.5’s new “American Pride Music Series”.

The duo of Eddie Montgomery and Troy Gentry are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming album, Rebels on the Run. Scheduled to hit stores on October 4, the band’s seventh studio effort follows 2008’s Back When I Knew It All. Fans can get taste of the new album with its lead single “Where I Come From”, which is streaming below.

“In a lot of ways the past year has been has been nothing but hell,” said Montgomery in a press release, The Kentucky native battled — and successfully beat — prostate cancer in 2010, as well as watched his marriage to wife Tracy end in divorce. “Man, without T-Roy and my family, this music, our fans and the Man upstairs, I don’t know how I would’ve gotten through it.”

Gentry added, “I don’t know if we would have made the same album if we hadn’t been through everything we’ve been through in the last year. We’ve always tried to record songs about things we’ve lived or seen, but the depth of all of those experiences really comes out in this album.”
