Mircosoft to bring Lenny Kravitz to Boston for free show

As part of their celebrations for their first retail store in Boston, Microsoft is bringing Lenny Kravitz to Massachusetts for a free show this weekend. The company will host the rock veteran on Saturday for a free show at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston.

Fans can only gain access to the free show by attending the grand opening of the Microsoft Store at The Shops at Prudential Center on Thursday at 10 a.m.. The first 100 people in line will receive two complimentary wristbands to the performance and a meet-and-greet session after the show.  A minimum of the next 1,500 people in line will also receive two premier-viewing wristbands to the performance.

The 3,600 square feet store is Microsoft’s 23rd since they launched the retail business in 2009. Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce will also join Thursday’s grand opening with an appearance to play Kinect with fans at 6 p.m.
