Prior to joining Jason Aldean for a pair of sold-out concerts at Fenway Park, Miranda Lambert will get her weekend in the Hub started earlier with an intimate club performance. The country superstar will headline the latest edition of the “CMA Songwriters Series” at Boston’s Royale on Thursday, July 11. She’ll be joined by Kip Moore and Brett James, as well as show host and Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame member Bob DiPiero.

Tickets for the 21+ show, which range in price from $30 to $70, will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster. Fans can purchase up to four tickets, which are non-transferable and will only be available at the box office will call window on the day of the show. Purchasers must present a photo ID in order to receive their tickets and then must immediately enter the venue with their entire party. Tickets may not be picked up in advance.

At the show, Lambert and the other singer-songwriters will take turns telling the stories behind their hit songs and performing them as originally written.

Following her summer tour commitments, Lambert is expected to hit the studio to record her fifth album. Her last full-length release was 2011’s Four the Record, which was powered by hit singles “Baggage Claim”, “Over You”, “Fastest Girl in Town” and “Mama’s Broken Heart”. Lambert has also been busy as a member of the Pistol Annies with Ashley Monroe and Angaleena Presley. The trio’ sophomore album Annie Up debuted at #5 on the Billboard 200 after its release last month.

The upcoming show will mark the CMA Songwriters Series’ third stop in Boston. Carrie Underwood headline last year’s event, while Kenny Chesney was the first to perform in 2012.
