Mike Gordon plans solo outing

Mike Gordon has revealed plans for a series of solo shows throughout New England this fall. The Phish bassist and vocalist will return to the road for a handful of shows spanning two weekends on the East Coast in support of his latest album, Moss.

The first show will take place at The Music Hall in Portsmouth, New Hampshire on Saturday, November 12. Tickets for the show are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website for $24 and $28. He’ll remain in New Hampshire the following night, for a show at the Lebanon Opera House.

Three weeks later, Gordan and his band will pick back up and play The Met in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on Friday, December 9. Tickets for the show are now on sale through eTix for $25. Gordon and company will return to Northampton, where they played their inaugural gig together back in 2008, the following night. Tickets for the show at the Calvin Theatre are now on sale through NBOTickets.com for $25.

Gordon’s band is comprised of Scott Murawski on guitar, Craig Myers on percussion, Tom Cleary on keyboards and drummer Todd Isler.

Moss, the Sudbury native’s third solo studio effort, was released in October of 2010. It reached #9 on the Billboard’s Top Heatseekers chart.
