Mika has revealed plans for an intimate stateside tour this spring. The British singer-songwriter will close out the month-long trek in Boston with a performance at Royale on Saturday, April 13. Tickets for the show will go on sale Wednesday at noon through Ticketmaster for $29.50.

The upcoming tour will feature Mika performing a special stripped down set accompanied by a pianist and guitarist. Fans can expect a set featuring new arrangements covering all points of his catalogue including his new album, The Origin of Love. Released last September, Mika’s third studio effort and follow-up to 2009’s The Boy Who Knew Too Much was recorded over two years. Mika worked with a plethora of collaborating songwriters and producers on the album, including Nick Littlemore, William Orbit, Benny Benassi, FrYars, Greg Wells and Klas Ahlund, as well as several brand new unsigned musicians he discovered himself online.

The Origin of Love features singles “Celebrate” (featuring Pharrell Williams) and “Popular Song” (featuring Ariana Grande).
