Massive Attack and Thievery Corporation have announce plans for a co-headlining tour this fall. The two will make their way to Boston for a show at the Orpheum Theatre on Tuesday, October 19. Tickets, which range in price from $39 to $50, are now on sale through Live Nation.

Pioneers of trip hop, the British production duo Massive Attack will be touring in support of their fifth album, Heligoland. Released earlier this year, the album comes seven years after the release of their previous non-soundtrack, standalone studio album, 100th Window. It features the hit single “Splitting the Atom”.

Thievery Corporation will release their first ‘best of’ album, It Takes A Thief, on September 21. The album is a collection of tracks specially selected by the Washington D.C. based duo of Rob Garza and Eric Hilton. Thievery Corporation have released five albums over the past decade, with their most recent being 2008’s Radio Retalitation. Last month, Hilton made his cinematic directorial debut with the release of “Babylon Central”.
