Mary J. Blige has announced plans to return to the road for a tour this fall. As part of her 11-city theater tour, the multi Grammy-award winning artist will stop in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Sunday, October 10 for her only show in New England. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $50 to $75, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website.

The “Music Saved My Life” tour will also feature artists Jazmin Sullavin and Miguel. Blige will be on the road supporting 2009’s Stronger with Each Tear, but is also promising to perform many of her major hits from her prior seven multi-platinum albums.

Earlier this summer, Blige sold over 60 thousand bottles of her “My Life” perfume in one day on the Home Shopping Network, a record amount for the network. One dollar from each purchase was donated to the Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN). Blige is the co-founder of FFAWN, whose mission is to empower women from all walks of life to reach their full individual potential.
