Martina McBride to play the Hanover Theatre

Martina McBride has added plans for a return visit to Massachusetts as part of her fall tour itinerary. The veteran country star will stop in Worcester for a performance at the Hanover Theatre on Thursday, September 12. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $48 to $78, are now on sale through the venue’s box office and website.

The four-time CMA Female Vocalist of the Year and three-time ACM Top Female Vocalist has no new album to promote on the upcoming tour. “This is just a chance to get out there and have fun,” explained McBride in a recent interview with the Arizona Republic. “We do album cuts, cover songs and obviously the hits. It’s just a laid-back musical experience.”

McBride is reportedly working on a new studio album. Though no details for the follow-up to 2011’s Eleven have been released, it is no expected to hit stores till early 2014. Produced by Byron Gallimore, Eleven featured singles “Teenage Daughters”, “I’m Gonna Love You Through It” and “Marry Me”.
