Continuing his promotion of 2012’s Fall Like Rain, Martin Sexton will return to Massachusetts next month. The veteran singer-songwriter will perform at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston on Friday, April 5. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $25 to $39.50, are available through the venue’s box office and website.

Fall Like Rain, which follows his 2010 full length album Sugarcoating, was released in January of 2012. The EP is comprised of 5-songs including single “Fall Like Rain” and a cover of Buffalo Springfield’s “For What It’s Worth”. In November, Sexton released a new live album, Live at the Filmore. The album captures 13 tracks recorded during various performances at the historic San Francisco venue over the past few years.

At the upcoming show, fans can expect a set covering all points of Sexton’s career. In a recent interview with Utah’s Park Record, he explained that he never writes setlists for headlining shows. Instead, Sexton prefers for the show to be more spontaneous and even invites fans to shout out requests. “When I do things like that, I feel like my shows are like individual bouquets,” he said.
