Maroon 5 have revealed plans to return to the road for a summer tour that will coincide with the release of their forthcoming album, Hands All Over. The pop-rock favorites will play the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Tuesday, August 10. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $20 to $75, go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Fans can also buy a special 4-pack of tickets for $80. The Boston show will feature special guests Owl City and VV Brown.

Hands All Over, the band’s highly anticipated fourth studio effort, is set for release on September 21, with the yet unnamed lead single making its way to radio stations on June 28. For the new album, the band enlisted production duties to legendary rock producer Mutt Lange (AC/DC, Def Leppard) and recorded the new material at Lange’s Switzerland studio.

“We didn’t even talk to anyone else,” explained frontman Adam Levine  in a press release. “Mutt is undeniably one of the most successful producers who’s ever lived”. Jesse Carmichael, the band’s keyboardist, added, “Mutt really helped us play to the best of our ability. And
it drove us to be bigger and better than ever.”

The new album features the band branching out a bit, with songs like “Out of Goodbyes”, a country ballad which features chart topping sensations Lady Antebellum on guest vocals. Hands All Over is a follow up to the band’s very successful 2007 release, It Won’t Be Soon Before Long which launched hit singles such as “Won’t Go Home Without You” and the Grammy award winning “Makes Me Wonder”.
