Lupe Fiasco to play the House of Blues

Lupe Fiasco has revealed plans to continue his North America tour this fall. The rap star will make his way to Boston for a show at the House of Blues on Monday, September 12. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $35 to $49.50, are now on sale through Live Nation. Theophilus London will open.

Fiasco is touring in support of his latest album Lasers. Released earlier this year, the Chicgao bred rapper’s third studio effort debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. Lasers features production by The Audibles, The Neptunes, Needlz, Alex da Kid, Syience, and long-time collaborator Soundtrakk, among others. The video for “The Show Goes On”, which is streaming below, has been nominated for the 2011 MTV Video Music Award (VMA) for “Best Hip-Hop Video”.

Earlier this month, Fiasco released a new track called “Go to Sleep”, which is expected to be part of his much rumored next release, Food and Liquor II: The Great American Rap Album.
