Luke Bryan adds second Mohegan Sun show

Due to overwhelming demand, Luke Bryan has added a second performance at Connecticut’s Mohegan Sun Arena in January. The country superstar will now follow-up his Thursday, January 23 show at with a performance on Friday, January 24. Tickets for the concert, which will also feature openers Lee Brice and Cole Swindell, are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $79.50 and $99.50.

Bryan, the reigning ACM Entertainer of the Year, continues to tour in support of his new album Crash My Party. Released in August, the Georgia native’s fourth studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s Tailgates & Tanlines debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200. The album has been powered by lead singles “Crash My Party” and “That’s My Kind of Night” (video is streaming below).

On Wednesday, Bryan will perform at the CMA Awards. He’s also been nominated for three awards: Entertainer of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year and Musical Event of the Year for “The Only Way I Know” with Jason Aldean and Eric Church. ABC will air the event live on from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
