Ludo make plans for fall tour

Ludo’s fall tour in support of their forthcoming album, Prepare the Preparations, will bring the alt/pop-rock band to Boston’s Paradise Rock Club on Thursday, September 16. Tickets for the all ages show are now on sale through Live Nation for $15. There For Tomorrow, The Graduate and Tommy & the High Pilots round out the bill’s supporting cast.

Prepare the Preparations, the band’s fourth studio effort, will hit stores September 7. The new album’s lead single, “Whipped Cream” recently rock radio formats and is now streaming on the Ludo’s MySpace. The band also released a viral video through Will Ferrell’s Funny or Die comedy website. Check it out here.

Ludo’s last album, 2008’s You’re Awful, I Love You (the first release of a multi-album deal with Island Records) was powered by the hit single “Love Me Dead”. The band’s recent activity also includes a simultaneous re-release of their first two albums, Ludo and Broken Bride, last September. While touring in support of the latter, members Tim Ferrell, Tim Convy, Matt Palermo, and Adam Brooks played as a side project entitled “The New Heathers”.
