Los Lonely Boys will hit Boston this summer as the band tours in support of their new album, Rockpango. The Texan trio will play the Paadise Rock Club on Friday, June 17. Tickets for the show are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $27.50.

Released at the end of March via the band’s own label, Rockpango is the band’s fifth studio effort and first since 2008’s Forgiven. Produced by Steve Chadie (Wilco, Sublime), the album features lead single “Fly Away”. Fans can download the track for free via the band’s official website after posting a message about the album on their Facebook or Twitter page. The video for “Fly Away” is streaming below.

On Rockpango, the band aimed to introduce softer melodies to their traditional blues-rock sound. “Man, you just mature,” said guitarist Henry Garza of the band’s evolution in a recent interview with the Houston Press. “And we’ve been lucky enough to make it this long, so we’ve been around and exposed to other ideas, and we’ve been able to learn from people and grow. No one wants to do the same thing over and over.”
