Lorde has revealed plans to embark on a tour of North America. The New Zealand-bred singer-songwriter will make her way stateside for a tour that stops at Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on Friday, March 14. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster for $45.

The upcoming tour will be in support of Lorde’s recently released debut album, Pure Heroine. Released at the end of September, it debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200. Produced by Joel Little, Pure Heroine is comprised of ten tracks with several originally released on The Love Club EP including smash hit “Royals”. The video for her latest single “Team” is streaming below.

Lorde (born Ella Yellich O’Connnor), who only turned 17-years-old in September, has enjoyed an incredible 2013. “Royals” spent nine weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, while also topping the charts in an additional 45 countries and selling 7.5 million copies across the globe. Most recently, she earned four Grammy Award nominations (“Record of the Year”, “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Solo Performance” for “Royals”, as well as “Best Pop Vocal Album” for Pure Heroine).
