Little Big Town have revealed plans to hit the road early next year for a tour in support of their new album, Tornado. The country stars, who recently won Vocal Group of the Year at the CMA Awards, will stop in Massachusetts for a performance at the Lowell Memorial Auditorium on Saturday, February 16. Tickets for the show will go on sale Monday at noon through the venue’s box office and website for $31.50 and $52. Kacey Musgraves will open the show.

Tornado, Little Big Town’s fifth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s The Reason Why, debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. The album has been powered by smash single “Pontoon”, which became the band’s first #1 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart and won the CMA award for Song of the Year. Also included on Tornado is a track called “Sober”, which was penned by Liz Rose, Hillary Lindsey and Massachusetts native Lori McKenna. The video for the title track and second single is streaming below.

“It’s going to be so much fun to share more music from this record with our fans,” said vocalist Kimberly Schlapman in a press release. “This new album means so much to us and to be able to showcase all of these songs is a dream come true.”

Little Big Town is comprised of Schlapman, Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Phillip Sweet.
