Lionel Richie has announced plans to hit the road this fall for a tour of North America. The five-time Grammy Award winning singer will bring his “All the Hits All Night Long” tour to Connecticut for its only scheduled stop in New England. He’ll perform at the MGM Grand Theater at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket on Sunday, September 22. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $75 to $125, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

“I’m so lucky to have the collection of songs that I can play for my fans, it becomes a giant sing-along most nights,” said Richie in a press release. “People always ask me ‘what are you going to sing tonight Lionel?’ and I always laugh and reply, ‘what are you going to sing tonight?'”.

Richie also revealed that he is in the studio writing and recording new music for a brand new original album. He hopes to release the album within the next year.

Last year, Richie released a duets album with a cast of country artists. Named for the city in Alabama where he grew up, Tuskegee features Richie performing a selection of his greatest hits with Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett, Kenny Chesney, Tim McGraw, Willie Nelson, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Rogers, Blake Shelton, Shania Twain and many others.
