Lindsey Buckingham has revealed plans for his upcoming North American tour in support of his forthcoming album, Seeds We Sow. The tour will stop in Boston for a show at the Wilbur Theatre on Sunday, September 25. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $22 to $45, will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster.

Seeds We Sow, the Fleetwood Mac guitarist and singer’s sixth solo album, will be released September 6. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer wrote, mixed, produced, and performed every song on the album. His last release, Gift of Screws, dropped in 2008.

“This might be the best work I’ve ever done,” declared Buckingham in a press release. “I think it’s an excellent representation of what I do. It shows a certain maturity and musicianship and I just feel like I have a lot of tools in my musical vocabulary from which to draw that are again the product of the choices I’ve made. It’s on my own terms.”

Buckingham’s Fleetwood Mac work recently resurfaced on the charts after an episode of the hit Fox TV show “Glee” paid tribute to the band’s iconic album Rumours, with the album reentering the Billboard Charts last month.

Prior to the Boston show, Buckingham will perform at the Ridgefield Playhouse in Ridgefield, Connecticut on Saturday, September 24.
