Lindsey Buckingham has announced an East Coast leg to his ongoing spring tour. The Fleetwood Mac guitarist will kick off the new set of dates in Boston with a show at the Wilbur Theatre on Tuesday, May 29. Tickets, which range in price from $35 to $45, will go on sale Friday at noon through Ticketmaster.

Buckingham will be promoting his latest release, Seeds We Sow. The singer’s sixth solo studio album and follow-up to 2008’s Gift of Screws, was released last September. The self-produced album is is his first self-released album.

“As I’ve grown as an artist, I’ve gotten more and more in touch with my center, and that center is voice and guitar,” he said in a press release. “Over time it has become increasingly vital to express more with less; that is my touchstone now, and the embodiment of that philosophy is what will be largely represented in the new show. I’ve been thinking of doing this tour for a while now, and am quite excited to be doing something new, something outside my comfort zone.”

Buckingham, who was last year named to Rolling Stone‘s list of “The 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time,” also plans to treat fans to some old favorites from his previous solo albums, as well as a variety of Fleetwood Mac classics.

Following his show in Boston, Buckingham will make his way to Rhode Island for a performance at Lupo’s Heartbreak Hotel in Providence on Wednesday, May 30. Tickets for that show, which range in price from $35 to $50, are now on sale through eTix. He’ll play the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom in New Hampshire on Thursday, May 31. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $20 to $40, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Other New England shows include New Hampshire’s Lebanon Opera House on June 1, the Calvin Theatre in Northampton, Massachusetts on June 2, and Connecticut’s Ridgefield Playhouse on June 6.
