Lil Wayne to hit New England on summer tour

Lil Wayne has revealed plans to return to the road this summer. Joined by special guests T.I. and Future, the veteran rapper will bring his “America’s Most Wanted” tour to New England for a pair of shows. He’ll stop in Massachusetts for a performance at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Sunday, August 4. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $29.75 to $158.25, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation.

On the tour, Lil Wayne will be promoting his new album I Am Not a Human Being II. His tenth studio effort and first since 2011’s Tha Carter IV is the sequel to 2010’s  I Am Not a Human Being. The album debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200 after its release in March and features singles “My Homies Still”, “No Worries”, “Love Me” and “Rich As Fuck”. Among the many special guests on I Am Not a Human Being II are Drake, Future, 2 Chainz, Soulja Boy and Juciy J.

T.I. will be touring in support of his latest album, Trouble Man: Heavy Is the Head. Released in December, the Atlanta-bred rapper’s eighth studio effort and follow-up to 2010’s No Mercy debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. It features singles “Go Get It” and “Ball”.

Prior to the show in Massachusetts, Lil Wayne will perform at the Comcast Theatre in Hartford, Connecticut on Wednesday, July 31. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $29.75 to $99.75, are now on sale through Live Nation.
