Lifehouse to tour with Kris Allen

After spending much of the year opening for Daughtry, Lifehouse has revealed plans for a headlining tour of their own. The band, who will be joined by American Idol season 8 winner Kris Allen, will play Boston’s Orpheum Theatre on Saturday, October 16. Tickets, which range in price from $25 to $35, are now on sale through Live Nation.

Lifehouse are on the road to support their new album, Smoke & Mirrors, which was released in March. The California-based rocker’s fifth studio effort features collaborations with Kevin Rudolf and Chris Daughtry. It peaked at #6 on the Billboard 200 with the help of hit singles “Halfway Gone” and “All In”.

Allen is touring in support of his 2009 self-titled major label debut album.

Prior to their show in Boston, Lifehouse and Allen will play the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Friday, October 15.
