Life is good festival reveals plans for ‘coffee house’ stage

The fourth annual Life is good Festival will take place next month and organizers have revealed the list of performers for its brand new addition, the Life is good Coffee House. Curated by hometown favorite Ryan Montbleau, he’ll be joined by fellow New England favorites Session Americana, Dwight & Nicole, Caravan of Thieves, Tall Heights and Vance Gilbert. Also set to perform at the coffee house are Zach Gill, Stephane Wrembel, Amber Rubarth and Nathan Moore.

Jack Johnson and Daryl Hall & John Oates will headline the two-day Life is good festival, which will take place at Prowse Farm in Canton on Saturday, September 21 and Sunday, September 22. Other highlights for the 2013 Life is good Festival include The Roots, Amos Lee, Dawes and Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Also scheduled to perform are Trampled By Turtles, Thao and the Get Down Stay Down, Good Old War, Delta Rae and Bahamas, while Massachusetts will be represented by homegrown standouts Gentlemen Hall, Lake Street Dive and Jesse Dee. Children’s music superstars Yo Gabba Gabba! will headline the Good Kids Stage on both days, alongside performances from Boston’s own Josh & The Jamtones and Seattle’s Recess Monkey. The Life is good Coffee House, a new addition to the festival celebrating its fourth year, promises attendees a “relaxed, intimate atmosphere where Festival-goers can enjoy Life is good coffee throughout the weekend”. Earlier this year, Life is good annoucned a partnership with the J.M. Smucker Company to create a line of Life is good coffee.

Tickets for the 2013 Life is good festival are now on sale through Ticketfly. Two-day adult passes are available for $120, while single-day tickets are $65. Kids (2-12 years) 2-day passes are available for $35 tickets (2-12 years) are $20 for one day, $35 for a two-day pass; kids under 2 years are admitted for free. Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Life is good Playmakers, the action arm of the Life is good Kids Foundation.
