LeAnn Rimes will return to the road next month for a series of live shows, including a pair of stops in New England. The country star will hit Massachusetts for a show at the North Shore Music Theatre in Beverly on Saturday, October 13. Tickets for the show are available through the venue’s box office and website for $49 and $59.

Prior to the show in Massachusetts, Rimes will perform at the MGM Grand Theatre at Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut on Friday, October 12. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $20 to $45, are available through the venue’s box office and website.

Rimes is expected to release a new album called Spitfire in the Spring of 2013. The album, her 14th studio effort, follows 2011’s Lady & Gentlemen. It will be her first release of all new material since 2007’s Family. The new album’s lead single “What Have I Done” will be released to radio and on iTunes on December 10.

Spitfire is a special record to me and I feel like with each single we’ll be rolling out a story, not just singles,” said Rimes in a statement. “I hope we created and wrote a story of your life, something to hold dear to your heart. I hold each and every song deep in my soul.”

At the end of August, Rimes entered a treatment center for anxiety and stress after her 30th birthday. “This is just a time for me to emotionally check out for a second and take care of myself and come back in 30 days as the best 30-year-old woman I can be,” she told People Magazine at the time.
