Laura Marling has revealed plans for a stateside tour this fall in support of her brand new album, Once I Was an Eagle. The English singer-songwriter will cross the pond and arrive in Massachusetts for a performance at the Somerville Theatre on Tuesday, September 3. Tickets for the show will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation for $25.

Released in May, Once I Was an Eagle is Marling’s fourth studio album and follow-up to 2011’s A Creature I Don’t Know. The album was recorded in the English countryside with longtime collaborator and producer Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams). The video for lead single “Master Hunter” is streaming below.

“This album is definitely a step towards being more… plain in my songwriting, I suppose,” said Marling in an interview with the Guardian earlier this year. “As I’ve gotten older, more comfortable with myself, I’ve become more comfortable channeling honesty into songwriting.”

At just 23-years of age, Marling has already won a Brit Award for Best British Female Solo Artist and earned a pair of Mercury Music Prize nominations.
