Lana Del Rey has extended her upcoming “Endless Summer” tour to include a stop in Massachusetts. The New York-bred pop star will perform at the Xfinity Center in Mansfield on Tuesday, June 9. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $25 to $79.50, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Opening the show will be Grimes.

Del Rey continues to tour in support of her latest album, 2014’s Ultraviolence. The album, her third studio effort and the follow-up to her 2012 major label debut Born to Die, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 after its release last June. It also debuted at #1 in eleven other countries, plus the top 5 in eight other countries. Ultraviolence was primarily produced by Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys, with additional assistance from Paul Epworth, Greg Kurstin, Daniel Heath and Rick Nowels. It features singles “West Coast” (streaming below), “Shades of Cool”, “Ultraviolence’ and “Brooklyn Baby”.

Along with Ultraviolence, Del Rey contributed a pair of songs to the Tim Burton film “Big Eyes” last year. The title song, which Del Rey wrote with Daniel Heath, received a Golden Globe nomination

In January, Del Rel revealed to Billboard that she had already written nine songs for her next album, titled Honeymoon. A few of the songs are already complete with Del Rey declaring, “the production is perfect; I’m looking for a few more songs to tie everything together”. No further details have been released.
