After successfully touring across Europe, Asia and Australia, Lady Gaga has revealed plans to extend the “Born This Way Ball” tour into 2013 with a full tour of North America. The pop star will make her way to Massachusetts for a performance at Boston’s TD Garden on Wednesday, February 27. The Born This Way Ball is Lady Gaga’s first tour since the release of her latest album Born This Way, which has sold nearly 6 million copies worldwide since its release in May 2011. The album is the follow-up to back-to-back Grammy Award-winning albums The Fame Monster (2009) and The Fame (2008). Not many details regarding the forthcoming album have been released, though Gaga did declare on her website that the album will be released  in a variety of formats include an interactive app (for iPad, iPhone and other mobile providers), which will be the “most major way to full immerse yourself in ARTPOP“.
