Having already sold out her two shows at the TD Garden for this summer, Lady Gaga has set her eyes on 2011. The pop superstar has revealed plans to extend her “Monster Ball” tour into next year with a return visit to Boston scheduled for Tuesday, March 8 at the TD Garden. Semi Precious Weapons, who have opened all dates for Lady Gaga’s 2010 tour, will join her again in 2011. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $49.50 to $175, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster.

Last fall, Gaga hit mostly theaters for the first leg of her “Monster Ball” tour. Now for the tour’s second leg, she “promises to push the limits of the live concert experience, bringing fans a spectacle even more eye-popping than what they experienced” according to a press release. The pop superstar is also calling the tour “the first-ever pop-electro opera.”

Gaga is touring in support of The Fame Monster, which was released last November. The album is the follow-up to 2008’s Grammy Award-winning album The Fame, which spawned the #1 singles “Just Dance” and “Poker Face.”

In related news, Lady Gaga recently became the first artist to have her videos reach a combined total of over 1 billion views online with “Bad Romance” also becoming the most viewed video of all-time on YouTube.com.
