Lady Antebellum have revealed plans for the release of their forthcoming album, Own The Night. The country superstars will hit the road for a tour that makes its way to Massachusetts in December. The show, the band’s only scheduled stop in New England, will take place at the Mullins Center at UMass Amherst on Thursday, December 15. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $33 to $43, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Josh Kelley and Edens Edge will open the show.

Own the Night, the band’s third studio effort and followup to 2010 Grammy Award winner Need You Now, will hit stores on September 13. The lead off single, “Just a Kiss”, was released in May and became a Top 10 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and their fifth #1 single on the Hot Country Songs chart. Last month, the band released the album’s second single, “We Owned the Night” (the video for the single is streaming below). The trio penned 10 of the new disc’s 12 tracks and co-produced the album with veteran producer Paul Worley.

“We’re definitely more in tune with each other musically and personally than ever,” said Dave Haywood in a press release. “It’s an exciting place to be. This album was created from the ground up—we are writing these songs, playing these instruments and creating these arrangements. With Own The Night, more than ever before, I think we share a real feeling of accomplishment both as a band and as friends.”

“Our only hope and expectation for this record is that it will build on the first two,” added Charles Kelley. “At the end of the day, we just want our fans to be able to say that we continue to give them solid albums with solid songs they can enjoy from start to finish.”
