Kid Rock announces plans for Mohegan Sun

Kid Rock, who is presently touring Europe and Southwest Asia as part of the “Tour for our Troops”  will return to the States in the New Year for a show at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut on Saturday, February 13. Tickets, which are priced at $66 and $86, are now on sale through Ticketmaster.

The multi-talented Kid Rock, whose real name is Bob Ritchie, has been a proud supporter of our men and women in uniform, including recording “Warrior” for a National Guard Campaign that ran in 2008, shows his pride alongside comedian Carlos Mencia and singer Jesse James this holiday season as he performs throughout Southwest Asia and Europe as part of the U.S. Air Force Reserve sponsored tour aptly named “Tour for the Troops 2009”.

In related Kid Rock news, Ritchie will launch his inaugural fan cruise dubbed Chillin’ The Most Cruise in 2010. The four day cruise will sail from Tampa, Florida to Grand Cayman Island, will feature performances from him and other yet to be named bands.  According to the artists website, tickets for the 2010 cruise are sold out.

Kid Rock was last in town this past summer, when he rocked the Comcast Center in Mansfield with Lynyrd Skynyrd.
