Kid Cudi to hit Massachusetts in July

Kid Cudi has announced new dates for his “Cud Life Tour”, which will take him to Massachusetts this summer. The hip-hop star will play Worcester’s DCU Center on Thursday, July 28. Tickets for the show, which range in price from $29.50 to $49.50, will go on sale Saturday at 10 a.m. through Ticketmaster. Fellow Cleveland rapper Chip Tha Ripper will open the show.

The summer tour comes as Kid Cudi continues to tour in support of his latest release, Man on the Moon II: The Legend of Mr. Rager. Featuring production from Cudi, Emile Haynie, Plain Pat and Dot da Genius, the album debuted at #3 on the Billboard 200 after its release last November.

[Man on the Moon II] is dark by nature and instead of bringing you into my dreams like my first album, I’m bringing you into my reality, good and bad,” explained Kid Cudi on his blog. “It will explain more of who I am as well as pushing the envelope musically.”

At one of his recent sold out shows in New York City, Kid Cudi announced that he will be releasing his third studio album on his new label called Wicked Awesome Records later this year.
