Kevin Youkilis to host benefit concert

Red Sox Slugger Kevin Youkilis will host a benefit concert at Howl at the Moon next week to raise funds for his Hits for Kids charitable organization. The “Sing into the Off Season” event will be held on Wednesday, November 7 at Boston’s brand new piano bar Howl at the Moon. The show will feature live sets from local favorites Will Dailey & The Rivals and Entrain, as well as the dueling pianos of Howl at the Moon.

Both Will Dailey and Entrain are featured on Music Hits Home, the the benefit album Youkilis curated and released this past summer through Rounder Records. The compilation album features some of today’s top national and local New England artists including Dave Matthews Band, Phish the Allman Brothers Band, Lori McKenna, Dropkick Murphys and many more.

In addition to the live music, Sing into the Off-Season will include silent and live auctions, a 50-50 raffle and much more. Tickets to the benefit are $100 and include a copy of Music Hits Home. Tickets can be purchased online at or by calling 781-444-9685.

Kevin Youkilis Hits for Kids is a charitable organization founded by Youkilis in 2007. The organization is dedicated to rallying local and corporate support for charities and organizations focused on the health and well being of children. The organization focuses its efforts in the New England area as well as Youkilis’ hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio.
