Kelly Clarkson & The Fray join forces for summer tour

Kelly Clarkson and The Fray will join forces this summer for a co-headlining tour. The pop-rock favorites will hit Massachusetts for a show at the Comcast Center in Mansfield on Saturday, August 25. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $52.50 to $72.50, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. Carolina Liar will also perform.

Clarkson, who performed at the Citi Wang Theatre earlier this year, continues to tour in support of her latest album Stronger. Released last October, the singer’s fifth studio effort debuted at #2 on the Billboard 200. All five of Clarkson’s albums have debuted in the top three. Stronger features hit singles “Mr. Know It All” and “Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)”.

The Fray will be promoting their new album, Scars & Stories. The Denver-based band’s third studio effort debuted at #4 on the Billboard 200 after its in February. Produced by Brendan O’Brien (Pearl Jam, Bruce Springsteen), the album was recorded at the legendary Blackbird Studios in Nashville. It features singles “Heartbeat” and “Run for Your Life”.

Carolina Liar continues to tour in support of their sophomore album, 2011’s Wild Blessed Freedom.
