Keb’ Mo’ preps for new album with spring tour

With a new album in the works, Keb’ Mo’ is back on the road and ready to hit New England next month for a handful of shows. The guitar virtuoso will stop in Massachusetts for a performance at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston on Saturday, March 22. Tickets for the show are available through Ticketmaster for $40 and $47.50.

BLUESAmericana, Keb’ Mo’s eleventh studio effort and follow-up to 2011’s The Reflection, will be released on April 22. The album was recorded in Nashville and produced by Keb’ Mo’ and Casey Wasner. It’s comprised of nine original songs and a cover of “That’s Alright”, a song he first heard sung by Mississippi Sheiks’ Sam Chatmon. Lead single “The Old Me Better” is streaming below. Its available as part of special EP that is only being sold on his current tour.

Along with the show in Massachusetts, Keb’ Mo’ will make stops in Vermont (Flynn Center for the Performing Arts in Burlington on March 16), New Hampshire (Lebanon Opera House in Lebanon on March 19), Connecticut (Norwalk Concert Hall in Norwalk on March 21 and the Garde Arts Center in New London on March 29) and Maine (Waterville Opera House in Waterville on March 23).
