Kate Nash plans Boston show

After delivering an intimate performance at Great Scott in Alston last spring, Brit-pop star Kate Nash has revealed plans for a return trip to America this fall. This time around, Nash will play the Paradise Rock Club on Thursday, November 18. Tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster for $20. London’s Peggy Sue will open the show.

Nash is touring in support of her sophomore album, My Best Friend Is You. Produced by former Suede guitarist Bernard Butler, the album was released in April. A handful of tracks off My Best Friend Is You including “Kiss That Grrrl”, “Take Me to a Higher Plane” and “I’ve Got a Secret” are now streaming on Nash’s MySpace. My Best Friend Is You charted at #8 in the UK and Ireland and at #62 in the United States.

After hosting a contest for her fans to submit videos for “Kiss That Grrrl” on You Tube, Nash  has revealed she will do the same thing for new single “Later On”. This time, Nash wants to see her fans deliver a Halloween inspired videos. Get more details here.

My Best Friend Is You follows her 2007 debut album, Made of Bricks, which was powered by the hit single “Foundations”.
