Kanye West has revealed plans for an arena tour this fall in support of his brand new album, Yeezus. The Chicago-bred rap superstar will emark on his first solo tour in five years and hit Boston for a night at the TD Garden on Sunday, November 17. Tickets for the concert, which range in price from $39.50 to $199.50, will go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. through Live Nation. West will be joined by special guest Kendrick Lamar.

Yeezus, West’s sixth solo studio effort and first since 2010’s My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 after its release in June. It also topped the charts in 30 other countries, including the United Kingdom and Australia. At the start of this year, West began recording the new material in Paris and eventually completed it with executive producer Rick Rubin in California. For Yeezus, West enlisted several collaborators, including Daft Punk, Mike Dean, Skrillex, Odd Future, Travis Scott, The-Dream, John Legend, James Blake, RZA, Pusha T and more. The album features additional vocals by Justin Vernon (of Bon Iver), Frank Ocean, Chief Keef, King L, Kid Cudi, Assassin and Charlie Wilson. It features singles “Black Skinhead” and “Bound 2”.

In a lengthy interview with the New York Times earlier this year, West praised Rubin for his impact on Yeezus. “I’m still just a kid learning about minimalism, and he’s a master of it,” said West. “It’s just really such a blessing, to be able to work with him.”

In 2011, West collaborated with Jay-Z for a joint release titled Watch The Throne.

Lamar, who recently performed at the Boston Calling Festival, continues to tour in support of his 2012 album Good Kid, M.A.A.D City.
